Terms of use
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These are the simple rules for using Typy. By using Typy you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What Typy is
Typy is an AI helper that shows you what to click and what to write on your computer, and guides you through coding exercises and projects. It never clicks, types or fills anything for you. You do every action.
Typy can be wrong
Typy's answers come from AI models and can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong, especially for unusual apps or newer versions of Windows. Check anything important before you rely on it, and never follow a step that looks unsafe or that you don't understand. You use Typy at your own risk and stay responsible for what you do on your computer.
Your account
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give accurate information when you sign up.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Windows app (Delete account) or VS Code (command "Typy: Delete My Account").
Fair use
Typy has limits on how many requests you can make each hour so it stays available to everyone. Please don't:
- try to break, overload or get around the limits of Typy;
- use Typy to do something illegal or to harm other people;
- share your account, or sell access to Typy;
- use Typy to cheat where you've been told not to, such as in an exam that forbids tools.
Your content
What you type stays yours. You allow us to send it to the services that help us answer you, as described in the privacy policy.
Free and paid use
Typy is free to start. We may add paid plans later. If we do, we'll tell you before anything you use today starts to cost money.
Changes and stopping
Typy is new and will change. We may change or stop parts of it, and we may suspend accounts that break these rules. We'll update this page and its date when the terms change.
